Our Relationship Statement

We all hurt. Some of us more than others.

We acknowledge that broken relationships are the root cause of the pain we feel, and the harmful strategies we use to cope with that pain: self-isolation, self-medication, blame, violence and ultimately, suicide.

We fully embrace one main idea. If broken relationships are the problem, whole relationships will be our solution. Respectful relationships that strike a fair balance between love and accountability

As members of the Nelson Project, we have chosen to build relationships with each other as our pathway to recovery, wellbeing and success (individually and as a community).
