Roxanne is a born and raised Yukoner and a citizen of the Carcross/Tagish First Nation. Roxanne has been working and training as a Human Resource Professional in various roles for the last 15 years in the public service working for the Territorial government, First Nation Governments and Nonprofits. She currently sits as a trustee for the C/TFN Daanaa Jili (Cache) Trust and was a previous board member of the Grey Mountain Housing Society. Generally, she has fallen into board work because a friend or family member needed the additional support at the organization, and has stayed involved because succeeding with friends and family to build something is rewarding and you gain valuable lifelong relationships, which is why the Nelson Project was created. For men to come together, work on their issues and create those lifelong friendships that make them successful in all aspects of their lives.
